Discovery of The Top Quark: On March 2nd, 1995, Dr. Eric Amidi along with a group of Physicists discovered the Top Quark at Fermi National Laboratory [1] in Batavia, Illinois. The Top Quark was the final piece of the puzzle in the search for all building blocks of the matter in the universe. Eric’s research is filed at Stanford University’s High Energy Physics (HEP) [2] Archives.
Artificial Intelligence: In his search for the Top Quark, Eric used Artificial Neural Networks; a class of software programs that can learn and identify patterns like the human brain does. The similarity between the mathematics behind these software programs and the functionality of the real human brain piqued Eric’s interest in the science of mind and self improvement.
